Logistics officers are responsible for the movement of goods and materials within an organization or between organizations. They plan, coordinate, and manage the flow of these materials to ensure that they arrive at their destination on time and in good condition.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Under the general direction of immediate supervisor and according to the relevant rules and regulations, guides and co-ordinates the procurement, warehousing and asset management function and logistics support for Project operations and the various Project activities

• Formulates proposals of policies and procedures with regard to maintaining projects safety and security, utilization of transport, supplies and cleaning

• Monitors the supply chain , the proper protection and controls of safety and security of Projects facilities and equipment.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Logistics & Supply Chain Management or in a related field of study

• English and Oromiga Languages are Mandatory
