Infinity Advanced Technology Solutions P.L.C. (IATS) is a leading medical equipment distributor and technical service provider in Ethiopia. Currently the company needs to hire a qualified personnel for the following vacancy:

Summary of the Job:

The Electronics Engineer personnel is responsible for performing board-level maintenance by delivering timely and accurate delivery on general service needs related to spare parts. Responsible for driving customer satisfaction through Service Excellence.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Technical Task

• Board level maintenance

• Setting up workshop

• Identifying, forecasting, and locating required components and tools for purchase inside or outside the country.

• Providing technical assistance to field engineers.

Reporting and Communication

• Effectively communicate with internal customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up, leading to customer satisfaction.

• Utilize the escalation process to resolve customer service delivery issues and conduct root cause analysis that will lead to effective problem-solving. Identify and report any and all customer/personal quality or compliance concerns immediately to the Head of the Medical Division

• Participate in continuous improvement activities by identifying and appropriately escalating process and product quality gaps, providing solutions when possible.

• Fill and record all tasks performed properly using appropriate documentation for the task as per the SOP such as NC form, service report.

• Submit on time weekly report.

System Implementation

• Fulfils administrative responsibilities such as maintaining customer service logs and internal service records in a timely manner.

Capacity building activities.

• Aware of and comply with the IATS Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position.

• Working as a member of the local team to provide efficient service delivery to all accounts within the assigned area.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

Education:

• BSc Degree and at least 2 years experience on Electronics

Experience:

• Experience with board level maintenance

Certification(s):

• Any Certification supporting the profession

Competencies:

Knowledge:

• Basic knowledge of Electronics Engineering

Abilities/ Skills:

• logical problem-solving abilities

• Creative thinking and effective technical skills

• Communication: good listening, written and oral communication skills,

• Ability to work under pressure

• Motivation to work extra hours when necessary

• Team work

Personal Suitability:

• Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 lbs. unassisted and frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch/squat, kneel/crawl, sit and stand for long periods of time. Must also be able to reach at, above and below shoulder level, flex/extend neck and have good hand and finger dexterity. Specific vision abilities required by this job may include color, close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.
