Job Description

  • Import export managers install and maintain procedures for cross-border business, coordinating internal and external parties.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  •  Responsible for planning and development of all PR elements of the marketing plan for allocated products and brands;

  • Planning and organizing resources against shipping and dispatch schedules during hectic periods to ensure services are maintained as required;

  • Evaluate processes to identify opportunities to reduce risks and/or costs for export control activities;

  • Maintain existing and create new export classification processes, and ensure they are enforced;

  • Manages the services and performance of vendors, third-party providers, and other relationships;

  • Establish the operational terms and contractual structure for working with Reseller partners;

  • Work with various internal and external partners to create, improve, and implement our global export strategy;

  • Maintains records of products, designs, pictures and specifications of all the items exported by the company;

  • Develop a professional and customer-focused Customer Care team through role-modelling, leadership and coaching;

  • Ensure the company follows the relevant government rules and regulations in its Export activities;

  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with buyers, suppliers, forwarders, transport companies, banks, and other parties;

  • Prepares and submits weekly/monthly reports on the activities status of the operation;

  • Performs other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Academic qualification

  • MA/BA in logistics, Procurement and Supply Management/Business Management or related fields

Years of experience: Minimum of 8+ years of experience in a comparable position;

Salary: Negotiable

Work Station: Addis Ababa
