Mid-Level Accountant job description
The accountant will be responsible for compiling and summarizing the company’s finances by managing the junior accounts and making month-end and year-end reports. The accountant will be producing all kinds of reports for internal and external audit use including general ledgers and others.
Mid-Level Accountant responsibilities include:
Prepare monthly shop sales reports.
and encode sales and purchases using TASS (required by ERCA)
prepare overall company inventory reconciliation with the physical count.
Calculate and prepare monthly VAT and excise tax declarations (Required by ERCA)
Monitor and verify monthly tax payments for ERCA (VAT, excise tax, withholding tax personal income tax, and pension contribution).
Assist in the work of yearly profit tax, income statement, and balance sheet.
Involved in month-end inventory physical count.
Assist external auditors (private and government) with information and documents they require during their time of audit.
Participate in preparing periodic and Year-end financial reports and statements
And other related activities as required.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
3-5 years of experience in the field
Thorough knowledge of Peachtree and Microsoft Excel
Knowledge of reporting tax procedures (VAT, Income tax, pension, excise and others)
Experience in year-end closing procedures
Audit experience preferred
Reviewing and monitoring budgets
