Our Company SBG industry PLC /Juice Line/ seeks to hire competent, experienced & aspiring applicants to fill the following vacant position. 

Duties and Responsibilities

• Makes sure air compressor and pneumatic tools are operating safely by:

• Checking fuel, water supply, and oil level in the engine and compressor;

• Monitoring oil pressure, water temperature, and control valves on the compressor; − Checking rock drill oil level in the pneumatic tools, and air-line lubricators and

• Start up, stoppage trip outs or deviations must be reported to the senior mechanic and other operators immediately.

• Drainage of water condensate on an hourly basis.

• Any abnormalities must be interpreted and compiled in a report

• Report to be send to his supervisor on a daily basis

• Interpreted readings and act on reading abnormalities

• Gives proper air in every process as per the predetermined temperature.

• Makes the diesel generators on the when there is no electric light and off when there is eclectic light if the generator is not adjustable to start operating as stand by.

• Distribute power among generators.

• Oversee both air compressors and generators operations.

• Regulate output from generators.

• Alter amount of electricity output.

• Monitor and troubleshoot operating equipment.

• Perform general housekeeping.

• Ensure plant adheres to safety and environmental rules.

• Identify process deviations and perform root cause/corrective action.

• Conduct area inspections and audits.

• Perform preventive and routine maintenance.

• Observe gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.

• Replenish fuel as needed.

• Ensures that machines are functioning properly.

• Inspects and maintains cleanliness of the machines and the work environment.

• Respects and improves safety regulations to protect workers and the factory from hazards.

• Updating check sheets on all equipment

• Keep records daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly equipment check sheets

• Place work order notifications and execute

• Maintained stand by equipment

• Monitor machinery performance and plan for maintenance based on observation

• Generate notification and follow up execution

• Executed engineering activities

• Monitor utility service operation

• Understands the specifications and working manuals of boiler and generator in    order to be able to operate smoothly.

• Requests and issues fuel for the proper functioning of the generator.

• Records the time spent on the operation and makes necessary services.

• Regulates and operates the boiler against the predetermined temperature.

• Ensures that machines are functioning properly.

• Inspects and maintains cleanliness of the machines and the work environment.

• Respects and improves safety regulations to protect workers and the factory from hazards.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Required Education and Experience: 

• Level four or advance diploma in General Mechanics or equivalent and Minimum 4 years’ Experience in mechanical maintenance and advanced expertise in production, system, process and technical knowledge

• Ability to do routine work

• Stable i.e. being able to do the same work for years on end.
