Job Summary:

As a Cleaning Supervisor at Edomias International PLC will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the cleaning operations within our outsourcing company. Your primary responsibilities will include supervising and coordinating the activities of cleaning staff, ensuring that cleaning standards are met, and maintaining a safe and sanitary working environment. You will be responsible for managing client relationships, scheduling cleaning tasks, and implementing quality control measures to deliver exceptional cleaning services.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervision and Leadership:

• Lead and supervise a team of cleaners, providing guidance, training, and support.

• Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and updates.

• Motivate and inspire the cleaning staff to deliver high-quality services.

Quality Control:

• Conduct regular inspections to ensure that cleaning tasks are performed according to established standards.

• Address and resolve any issues or deficiencies in cleaning performance promptly.

• Implement quality control measures to enhance service delivery.

Client Relations:

• Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients through regular communication.

• Address client concerns or requests in a professional and timely manner.

• Work closely with clients to understand their specific cleaning needs and preferences.

Scheduling and Coordination:

• Develop and maintain cleaning schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks.

• Coordinate with the Operations Manager to allocate resources effectively.

• Adjust staffing levels based on workload and special cleaning requirements.

Training and Development:

• Provide training to cleaning staff on cleaning techniques, equipment usage, and safety protocols.

• Identify opportunities for skill development and advancement within the team.

Safety and Compliance:

• Enforce safety protocols and ensure that all cleaning activities comply with health and safety regulations.

• Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions for the cleaning staff.

Inventory Management:

• Manage and monitor cleaning supplies and equipment inventory.

• Insure that uniforms are delivered as per the agreed schedule.

• Place orders for supplies as needed, ensuring adequate stock levels.

Job Requirements

Qualifications and Skills:

• Degree in any field; additional qualifications in facility management or a related field is a plus.

• Five years of proven experience in a supervisory role, preferably in the cleaning or facility management industry.

Additional Skills

• Strong leadership and organizational skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals.

• Understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards.

• Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to changing priorities.
