Summary of Responsibilities:

• Responsible for providing service and relevant information for patients and co-workers

• Careful collection and handling of samples to ensure a valid and dependable results and infection prevention

• Following up with both internally requested lab test results and test results which are sent to external labs. Logging and recording test results accordingly.

• Showing the highest level of professional ethics and integrity

• Conserving supplies

• Work closely with all departments, especially the medical team, to ensure all relevant professional procedures, policies, protocols, and regulatory requirements are followed thoroughly. 

Job Requirements

• Ethiopian Food and Drug Authority Licensed

• Fluent in English and Amharic – written and spoken

• >3 years of experience in a similar medical laboratory technology position

• Relevant healthcare regulatory awareness
