Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our company. As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our delivery operations, including logistics, customer service, and driver management. 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness

  • Assist the business in planning, organizing and coordinating functions relating to the operation of the business

  • Manage transportation, distribution, and supply chain operations.

  • Optimize logistics to reduce lead times and improve delivery efficiency.

  • Prepare regular reports on operational performance.

  • Analyze data to make informed decisions and recommendations.

  • Identify and address operational challenges.

  • Provide recommendations and suggestions for improvements in any aspects relating to increased performance

  • Provide guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to team members.

  • Keep up to date with the current market trends and industry forecasts

  • Allocate resources effectively to meet operational demands.

  • Manage budgets and expenses to ensure cost control.

  • Procure and maintain necessary equipment and supplies.

  • Coordinates with different departments to achieve optimal work production across the Company

  • Design and create plans of action for the various stages of the customer service process.

  • Ensure products or services meet quality standards and customer expectations.

  • Develop and implement quality control measures.

  • Day-to-day management of all customer-facing teams to ensure all teams work towards the same goals and manage daily operations to ensure smooth workflow

  • Promote a customer-centric business approach.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

  • 3+ years of experience as an operations specialist in a logistic business.

  • Project management and leadership experience.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

  • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and best practices.

  • Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for data analysis and reporting.
