Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Organizes, directs and controls the flow and transfer of raw materials and finished goods from stores and control the dispatch of sold goods from stores to customers in an efficient and effective way in order to minimize the overall warehousing and supply of the company and maximize customer satisfaction
Plan, analyze, execute and monitor management Policies, SOPs, hire, promote, transfer, suspend and layoff employee or take disciplinary measure against employee.
Ensures that clear understanding of the company's policies and vision and how the warehouse contributes to these.
Ensures reserved items and updated stock balance are submitted to Sales division and Showrooms on daily bases.
Responsible for receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations, and also coordinate and monitor the receipt, order, assembly and dispatch of goods.
Ensures that there is smooth flow of relevant information to all subordinates and creates team work within and among sections.
Manages and controls inventory, by following on past trends and plan or future orders and consumptions.
Oversees all items movement to determine fast and slow moving items and keeping up the reorder time, clearance of damaged and old age stocks, parts and components.
Develops, implements and controls systems on how to store and handle products and best suited, stores based on company agreed location
Assures that there is uninterrupted now of raw materials from sources, safe and efficient storage of stocks, availability and proper supply of stocks and related information that production, sales and distribution will run smoothly, efficiently and effectively
Organize warehouse and production for quarterly and yearly stock counting with collaboration of concerned department and divisions.
Keeping truck of the current inventory of the company and anticipate the company's future needs to ensure smooth and uninterrupted flow of raw materials and finished pods and other supplies to increase customer satisfaction and facilitating proper execution of daily routines.
Develops and implements systems and procedures that help to reduce rate of damage of stock items during delivery processes and give prompt maintenance services to damaged customer's goods.
Follow up and give solutions on complaints and take timely and proper action and forwards feedbacks on products improvement to produce and propose order for adequate quantity of shortage and warranty replacement parts to complete stock and give efficient and effective after sales services.
Follow up the timely supply of raw materials for production and receipt of finished goods and having it ready for sale.
Following a necessary documents are send to finance.
i.e . GRN, DO, RCERV,RMIVS.... Etc.
Creating awareness and giving on job training on how to handle the materials during loading and unloading from the vehicle to stores in order to minimize the damage of items and efficient utilization of store spaces.
Initiates surprise random inventory every month and verify the conformity of stock balance and reports with finance.
Maintain clear organized and record Bin Card and other records up to date.
G.R.N on time within days of necessary items to finance and the relevant report concerning the status of the items to the Manager for proper action.
Organize developmental trainings, supervises and monitoring the performance of subordinates and making sure that they are complying with all relevant policies, rules and regulation and procedures of the company.
Verifies store related documents and follow up the timely exchange of stock information with commercial department and documents with finance department.
Timely communication of reporting data for management smooth flow of information to ensure that all are met deliverables.
Performs other related tasks assigned by immediate manager and top management.
M.A / BA Degree in Procurement & Supply chain management, Accounting, Business Administration, Logistics or related disciplines.
For M.A Degree a minimum of 4 years relevant work experience out of which 2 years in managerial position and for BA Degree a minimum of 6 years relevant work experience out of which 3 years in managerial post.
Experience in furniture production and material management, etc.
Experience in inventory management system plus (MS Word, Excel, Access, etc.)
