Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or in a related field of study with relevant work experience Duties and Responsibilities: - Design, prepare, and deliver engaging lesson plans and a full curriculum for robotics classes. - Teach students programming fundamentals using languages like Python, C++, or graphical interfaces (e.g., Scratch). - Facilitate hands-on activities with robotics kits (e.g., LEGO Mindstorms, VEX) covering design, building, and troubleshooting. - Foster a collaborative and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity and critical thinking. - Assess student progress through projects, presentations, and practical tests. - Supervise and ensure student safety in the lab/workshop. - Potentially mentor students for robotics clubs or competitions. - Collaborate with other faculty to integrate STEM learning across subjects. Required Skills: - Proficiency in at least one programming language relevant to robotics (Python preferred). - Strong understanding of robotics concepts, electronics, and mechanical principles. - Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
