Materials engineers research and design new or improved materials for a diverse number of applications. They analyse the composition of materials, conduct experiments, and develop new materials for industry-specific use that can range from rubber, to textiles, glass, metals, and chemicals. They advise companies in damage assessments, quality assurance of materials, and recycling of materials.

Work Location: Project (out of Addis Ababa)

Employment Status: Permanent

Salary: Negotiable

Duties & Responsibilities:

• testing the resistance of materials under different conditions

• researching the properties of materials

• performing research on material performance

• Researching the properties and applications of different materials.

• Collaborating with design and manufacturing teams to select the best materials for each project.

• Conducting tests to evaluate material performance under different conditions.

• Developing new materials and processes to improve product performance and sustainability.

• Providing technical advice and support to colleagues and clients.

• Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Job Requirements:

• MSc/BSc Degree in Civil engineering or Related Field

Experience:

• 4/6 Years Relevant Work Experience & above
