Job Description

Accountabilities and MAIN WORK ACTIVITIES

Procurement Planning and Sourcing (15%)

·       Stakeholder engagement in relation to procurement processes and planning

·       Sourcing suppliers, assist in managing Tenders and RFQs

·       Assist in the analysis, review, and comparison of offers

·       Maintain price list

Procurement Buying (50%)

·       Conduct procurement process PR/PO

·       Understand and apply procurement procedures relevant to its level

·       Contract negotiation

·       Due Diligence/Contract terms and conditions, delivery times are respected

·       Draft Comparative Bid Analysis (CBA)

·       Ensure settlement of payments in a timely manner

 Supplier/Partner management (20%)

·       Collect quotations based on approved PR

·       Contract management

·       Supplier operation reviews

·       Assist in conducting appropriate market assessments upon the direction provided by the line manager

·       Maintain Supplier Database

·       Review partner/supplier adherence to procedure & document management

Reporting, Monitoring and Tracking (15%)

·       Maintains accurate and timely data entry

·       Report on the status of procurement to the line manager

·       Stakeholder engagement in the delivery of goods and services

·       Mediation through engagement with suppliers in case of non-delivery

Technical expertise, skills, and knowledge

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications/Experience Essential:

·       BA Degree in logistics Management, Purchasing/Supplies Management, supply chain management, or related field.

·       3-5 years of relevant work experience in an INGO environment, involving the procurement of both emergency and development programs

  • Sound analytical and problem-solving capability;

  • Ability to influence others’ behavior through effective relationship building; through current knowledge and understanding of relevant policies, frameworks, etc.

·       In-depth knowledge of project processes, procedures, and systems

 Qualifications/Experience Desirable:

·       Experience in UN Or NGO environment involving in the procurement activities

·       Experience in emergency procurement is advantageous

·       Supervisory experience

·       ERP experience

·       Pharmacy background

Languages Required

·       Fluency in the English language is essential
