OLA Energy Ethiopia Limited is a company engaged in the marketing of Oil products in Ethiopia. We would like to recruit a Cashier, who will join our diverse and talented Customer Service team. We offer an environment where development, challenge, and recognition are encouraged. Here is what we are looking for.

Basic Function

Receives and deposits all collections made for products and passes the necessary entries. Issue receipts to all collections and prepare daily Cash Collection Summary.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Release orders received at the time of payment.

  • Receive collection against Company receipt.

  • Issue receipts for all collections.

  • Receive notification slips with cheques and capture them in the system.

  • Send all cheques and CPO with bank summary to the bank.

  • Prepare batch summary for all daily receipts.

  • Receive and attach bank summary with batch and pass it to the concerned section, etc.

Can do:

  • Provide courteous, polite, and helpful service to external and internal customers.

  • Ability to work under pressure and communicate effectively at all levels. 

  • Ability to prioritize and schedule workload. 

  • Highly self-motivated, and dependable.

  • Analytical approach to problem-solving and the ability to resolve problems effectively and expediently. 

Job Requirements

Qualification/Experiences

  • B.A. in Accounting or related fields

  • 3-5 years relevant experience

  • Very good communication skills,

  • Sound knowledge of the cash collection process, and reconciliation

Knowledge of Languages:
Essential:

  • Fluent in Amharic and English.
