We are seeking a highly organized and self-motivated Manager to join us.

Description of the Role

To lead and coordinate our company’s and leased transport and maintenance services, look after fuel consumption, spare part and accessories utilization,  lead and supervise production machinery and accessories, Maintenance of office and other electrical and sanitation and ICT infrastructures installations and maintenance functions to the smooth functioning of overall company business.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Design a robust Transport management plan

• Manage company and leased vehicles including their consumption of oils and services

• Inspect plan and arrange maintenance works

• Coordinate the transport/ vehicle allocation for product distribution and office work

• Leads drivers to demonstrated a safe driving and develop team spirit and discipline

• Deals about the allocation or replacement of cars with the suppliers already in the contract agreement with TAPU

• Leads a proactive cost effective maintenance schedule of the processing plant

• Coach, and Train all maintenance staffs including machine operators about maintenance and proper utilization of machines respectively

• Make sure all machines and equipment are always in a good status to do the job

• Prepares periodic and situational reports

Reports to:  HR, Procurement and Logistics Director

Level:  Senior (5+ Years)

Location:  Addis Ababa

Job Requirements

Expected Background

• MA/Msc, BSC in Mechanical, Electrical, Electro mechanics, Industrial Engineering or BA in  Business Field studies along with a TVET college graduate on the above technical fields any other similar

• Have a demonstrated and progressive Transport and Maintenance management experience at a  supervisory and managerial level

• Proven working experience with internal and external multi stakeholders

• Verbal and Written communication skill both in Amharic and English

• Best documentation ability both hard and electronic

• Familiar with his roles regulatory requirements.

• Team Work, coaching and proactive nature are essentials
