JOB POSITION: Social Media Curator
JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a talented and dynamic Social Media Curator to join our team. As a Social Media Curator, you will play a key role in managing and growing our presence across various social media platforms, ensuring our brand message reaches our target audience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and execute social media strategies to drive brand awareness, engagement, and traffic across various social media platforms like Telegram, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and Addis Fortune's main website.
Create and curate compelling content, including text, images, videos, and infographics, to engage with the target audience and promote brand messaging.
Monitor social media channels and respond to comments, inquiries, and mentions in a timely and professional manner.
Manage social media advertising and schedule advertisements based on social media metrics.
Track, analyze, and report on social media metrics, such as reach, engagement, follower growth, and website referrals, to measure the effectiveness of social media efforts and inform future strategies.
Stay updated with the latest trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in social media marketing and incorporate them into strategies.
Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure social media activities align with overall marketing objectives and campaigns.
Build and maintain relationships with influencers, brand advocates, and relevant industry partners for collaborations and partnerships.
Send different newsletters and publish content on all of Addis Fortune-owned online platforms
tay informed about relevant legal and ethical considerations surrounding social media marketing, such as privacy and data protection regulations.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION:
Competent in writing and reading in English with a keen interest in journalism.
At least one year of experience in digital media with a commendable work ethics.
Must be tech-savvy with a passion for writing and storytelling.
Basic knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator CS
Ability to work on a digital-first content development strategy.
Independent learner who takes full responsibility for growth and skill development.
Flexibility to irregular work hours, weekends and holidays
