Job summary

Production supervisor take care of all Manage the workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules. Guide and coach employees٫ monitoring their productivity. Oversee safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance. Perform verification of production output according to specifications. All machine-specific functions such as configuring the equipment, loading and operating the machines, and optimizing the machine capability. They need to ensure that the machine works at its full capacity, perform timely quality checks, preparing trainings, resolving problems, and reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Set daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicate them to employees

• Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules

• Oversee and coach employees

• Ensure the safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance

• Ensure the availability of raw material, packing material and human resource asper the standard quantity and quality.

• Check production output according to specifications

• Submit reports on performance and progress

• Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements

• Train new employees on how to safely use machinery and follow procedures

• Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards

• Hands on experience with machine operating and production lines.

• Learning how to operate different machines and processes involved with the production.

• Learn on the job regarding the best practices in the industry.

• Make sure machines are calibrated before the production begins.

• Ensure the machines are regularly checked and cleaned.

• Monitor and control the machine performance and settings.

• Regularly conduct tests of the machine’s performance and operating capacity.

• Inspect machinery with appropriate tools.

• Operating machines and control the process

• Feed raw materials into semi-automated machines and help the assembly line.

• Check the output of the machines and identify if there are any issues.

• Clean the machine daily, weekly and monthly ensure

• Control/manage the assistant take task

• When there is problem on production process or any problem inform on time to production manager.

• Ensure production shift hand over has properly done

• Wear PPE properly, monitor, control the assistance & casual workers.

• Execute similar activities when ordered by his immediate boss.

Job Requirements

• Good operating skill and experience of similar machineries

• Good process & product knowledge

• Good reporting skill

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Experience:

• Minimum of 4 years of proven experience in similar production and supervision lines.

• TVET graduate with level III and above in manufacturing general mechanic, electricity, industrial machine drive and related fields.
