Job Description
Under direct supervision of Field Project Coordinator and with technical support from the APCfC Gender and Peace Exert at HO, the primary task of GBV case manager is to strengthen capacity on GBV case management in collaboration with APCfC and local service providers to ensure that GBV survivors use GBV specialized interventions and psychosocial support services and have access to functional referral mechanisms meeting their needs and preferences. She/he will support community/local-level service providers to provide quality care, support, and protection to GBV survivors, with a focus on safe, ethical, and comprehensive GBV case management.
Provide standard GBV case management services to GBV survivors according to APCfC’s standard operating procedure, and Inter-Agency GBV Prevention and Response minimum standard
Led and coordinate case conference when it is necessary
Coach and mentor community facilitators on client centered GBV case management.
Advocate for client -centered GBV service delivery at different platforms(meetings)
Provide Safe GBV disclosure training for project target women and community facilitators
Delivery training on case management and protection mainstreaming for Community Facilitators and government staff and other stakeholders in the intervention districts.
Ensure that Women and older adolescent girls are accessing group Psychosocial support at their respective groups.
Coordinate and led quarterly referral network workshop with protection service providers at woreda level.
Work with protection /GBV service providers (organizations) and APCfC’s in developing and adapting standard Operating procedure, referral pathway, guideline, Information, Education and Communication materials.
Conduct service mapping and gaps identification for provision of GBV specialized services and provide support for government GBV service providers, and conduct safety audit
Prepare information sharing materials on referral pathway in local language
Compile/Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports on project GBV service provision.
Perform additional activities assigned by the supervisor

Duty Station: Moyale Woreda with frequent travel to project target kebeles.

Basic Salary: Birr 24,822.70(Twenty-four thousand eight hundred twenty-two & seventy cents) plus 30% hardship Allowance.
Education and Work Experience Required:
Degree or Diploma in gender, Law, Psychology, Social work, health and/or other related behavioral/social science fields studies with minimum of 3 years for B.A holders and minimum of 5 years practical experience for Diploma holders in GBV case management training and facilitation, and referral mechanism.
Working in Humanitarian settings and NGO experience is an asset.
Experience in HIV health response intervention preferably case management is an asset
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Practical experience in Protection/ GBV case management, training and facilitation skill
Demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to work independently and productively with multiple stakeholders.
Demonstrated understanding of issues related to confidentiality, data safety and other ethical concerns related to the sharing on sensitive data between concerned bodies.
Excellent networking skills with the ability to establish good relationships, confident in engaging with colleagues, partners and stakeholders
Flexibility, adaptability, and ability and willingness to operate independently in remote and potentially risky environments.
Command of MS Package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook); Strong writing, reporting and communication skills;
Good command of Afan Oromo and English languages, both written and spoken.
Good interpersonal relationships and team work skills in a multi-cultural environment
Readiness to work outside of the framed job description
