We are currently seeking a highly organized and efficient Administrative Assistant to join our team at WMG Biomedical Engineering PLC. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and multitasking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Compose and format outgoing and incoming letters, emails, memos, and other documents as required.

  • Proofread and edit documents to ensure accuracy and professionalism.

  • Maintain updated records and files for easy access and reference.

  • Assist in organizing and scheduling meetings, appointments, and events.

  • Prepare agendas and take minutes in meetings when necessary.

  • Provide general administrative support and assist in various office tasks.

  • Handle incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls to the appropriate personnel.

  • Coordinate travel arrangements, including booking flights, accommodations, and transportation.

  • Monitor and update attendance records of employees, ensuring accuracy.

  • Assist in vehicle allocation and maintenance, including scheduling repairs and regular maintenance.

  • Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as needed.

  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity and professionalism.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or relevant field is preferred but not required.

  • Proven work experience as an Administrative Assistant or similar role.

  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) with exceptional typing skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.

  • Professional and pleasant demeanor.

  • Ability to work independently and in a team.

  • Familiarity with basic accounting principles is a plus.

  • Knowledge of vehicle allocation and maintenance is desirable.

Experience

  • Minimum of 2 or 3 years of experience in a related field.
