Summary:
The work schedule for this position is: Full-time (40 hours per week)
Start date: Candidate must be able to begin working within a reasonable period time (4 weeks) of receipt of agency authorization and/or clearances/certifications or their candidacy may end.

Duties
Under direct supervision of the Housing Coordinator, the incumbent shall identify potential residences for lease for the Embassy through contacts, real estate brokers and advertisements. Prepare annual lease budget for State and State ICASS in coordination with Finance section Prepare leases and draft waiver requests as necessary. Ensure that the status of all lease files and RPA are maintained, and work with the Financial Management Office in planning quarterly leasehold funding requirements. Serve as backup to the Housing Coordinator in his/her absence. Serve as COR on the residential gardening contractor. The incumbent is responsible for supervising five realty clerks. The Incumbent serves as an incidental operator of official vehicles and meets all requirements outlined in 14 FAM 433.
Requirements:
EXPERIENCE: A minimum of three years experience in Office Management or administrative work is required. Six months of this experience must be in realty management. At least one (1) year of supervisory experience in managing people, writing and reviewing performance appraisals is also required.
Education Requirements:
Education:- Completion of two years of college/university studies is required.

LANGUAGE:-
Level 4 (Fluent) Speaking/Reading/Writing English is required. (This may be tested)
Level 4 (Fluent) Speaking/Reading/Writing Amharic is required. (This may be tested)
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:- Must be able to work with minimum supervision to manage all required tasks; must be able to prioritize, and effectively communicate orally and in writing; must be able to interact positively with a wide variety of individuals in and out of the Embassy. Must be able to organize paper flow and maintain schedules; must be proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel and be able to use office applications including ILMS. Basic keyboarding skills and basic MS Office suite knowledge. Must have a current and valid 2-grade driver's license. Must have had a valid driver’s license for a minimum of five (5) years. (These may be tested)
