International Clinical Laboratories (ICL) is one of the largest of independent clinical diagnostic centers on the African continent. ICL has opened its door for service in 2004 with the aim of “contributing to the maintenance and enhancement of the quality of life throughout Ethiopia” by encompassing a system of human and physical resources designed to meet the changing healthcare needs of the population it serves.

It is the only laboratory accredited by the USA based Joint Commission International (JCI) for five times in a row. The laboratory provides more than 3000 tests in collaboration with its referral laboratories.

ICL would like to fill the following vacant positions under the Operation department by inviting all qualified and competent applicants:

• Performing general maintenance tasks for the Company Building or buildings, such as window washing drywall repair plastering, carpentry, flooring repair, painting and more…

• Handle repairs that require basic skill as an electrician, carpenter, plumber, painter, HVAC technician and roofer

• Maintain exterior property

• Remove and properly dispose of all recyclable materials 

• Change light bulbs, interior and exterior as needed 

• Responds to emergency situation as required 

• Must be able to prepare weekly, monthly and yearly reports using software’s as required

• Work with line managers to report problems, solutions and costs

Job Requirements

Qualification: 

• Diploma in general mechanics or related fields, with 3 (three) years relevant experience    or

• Degree in Electrical or Civil engineering with 1(one) year relevant service Experience

Required skills and responsibilities 

• Capable of handling different task

• Good in team work and communications 

• Basic understanding and knowledge of PC Application, MS Office and IT Systems 

• Good Attitude and understanding of quality performance
