Job Summary:

Driver and Liaison Officer - This position provides a diverse range of Liaison services and Driving. She/he performs driving of office vehicles, assists the supply chain team in sourcing and procuring goods/services, handling liaison tasks in different government offices , delivering purchased items  and assisting in the customs clearance process.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for Driving

• Responsible for purchasing General and Technical Purchase

• Assist in collecting quotation from different supplier

• Assist in collecting shipping document from bank

• Assist the procurement team in receiving shipments from different customs port

• Assist in collecting goods after cheque is prepared by Supply Chain team

• Act as backup in the absence of purchasers to purchase goods/service

• Assist in searching local suppliers

• Act as liaison officer in different government offices

• Assist in Ethiopian shipping lines freight and container deposit settlement

• Assist in receiving purchased goods from suppliers

• Assist in delivering purchased items

• Any other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Job Requirements

 Competencies:

• Good Communication skill

• Personal Skills such as honesty, integrity and commitment

  Qualification Required: 

  • Diploma or TVET  in purchase  and  any related field of study

    Experience: 

    • 3 + years experience of driving vehicle 

    • 1 year experience as a Liaison officer 

    Languages Required: 

    • Amharic and English
