Under the general direction of Marketing & Sales Department Manager,         the Salesperson responds to customers enquires, gives out quotations and offers, receives bids, negotiates and concludes sales. She/he Conducts market survey and analyzes sales price and products quality of various types of cement products of the company in relation to other similar companies and provides feedback. Follows-up pre and post delivery activities and ensures prompt delivery and maintains list of potential customers; follows-up order status of products under contract.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepress annual plan and periodic sales targets with reared budget and implements upon approval;

• Responds to customer’s enquires, gives out quotations and offers, receives bids, negotiates, and with the consent of the division head concludes sales;

• Conducts continuous research, reviews and analyzes the sales performance of the various types of cement products of other similar companies and provides feedback to concerned sections;

• Follows-up pre and post delivery activities and ensures prompt delivery;

• Maintains list of potential customers; follows-up order status of product under contract;

• Follows-up tender announcements , purchases tender documents and evaluates and submits  same to the department Manager;

• Visits prospective and potential customers and  promotes the products;

• Undertakes product familiarization activities such as distributing brochures, posters, calendars, specifications, customers guide, etc. related to the products of the company;

• Compiles and submits periodic reports to the Department Manager;

• Performs other activities as and when assigned by immediate supervisor.

Job Requirements

• B.A degree in Marketing/Business Management /Business Administration /Sales Management /Salesmanship/ with 4 years’ relevant work experience
