Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure the accuracy of the facility’s inventory system by updating records of physical inventory totals, receipts, adjustments, and returns;

  • Make sure adequate record keeping is in place and verify all documentation to confirm proper stock levels are in place;

  • Manage the issuance of Goods Receiving Notes, Store Issue Vouchers and Gate Passes to internal and external customers as required;

  • Maintain inventory control and initiate action for stoppage of further purchasing when the stock level reaches maximum limits;

  • Reported on a regular basis regarding the need/demand so that future orders could be placed accordingly;

  • Keep up-to-date records of receipts, records, and withdrawals from the stockroom;

  • Create purchase orders and utilize purchasing cards to perform low-value procurement activities;

  • Arrange stock items as per the guideline and coordinate the disposal of excess items;

  • Handle vendor’s bills for the received materials and submit to the Accounts department for timely settlement of payment;

  • Inspect items delivery in terms of quality and quantity to avoid receipt of damages/missed items and timely report for reimbursements, if any;

  • Responsible for packing, labelling, and returning damaged supplies when necessary;

  • Develops and maintains a pleasant and conducive working environment with colleagues;

  • Another task as assigned by your supervisor

 Requirements

 Academic qualification

  •  Degree in procurement and supply management, Accounting, management or related fields.

 Work Experience

  • Minimum of 4 (Four) years of related and proven work experience

 Additional qualifications

  • Knowledge of proper bookkeeping and inventory management

  • Good Command of English, both writing and speaking;

  • Keen attention to detail and ability to effectively manage time

  • Ability to work in team and individually;

  • Well-organized and able to prioritize tasks:

  • Skills to operate common office equipment and software;
