Job Summary

The Loan Provisioning Officer is responsible for assisting in the follow-up of the loan provision capacity of the Bank in line with capital adequacy, asset quality, management soundness, revenue and profitability, liquidity, and sensitivity analysis. 

Academic & Professional Qualification

Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Management, Banking, Finance or other related fields.

Job Requirements

 Experience

At least four (4) years relevant banking experience.

Required Technical Competency

Working knowledge of provisioning for loan losses and the Bank’s regulatory provisioning policies and requirements.                                                                                               

 Financial analysis experience and credit training.

 Good knowledge of loan workout and recovery processes and strong knowledge of lending principles in the commercial business market.

 Extensive banking background, including understanding credit, risk management, and compliance requirements.                                                                                                

 Solid understanding of lending procedures and credit reporting agencies.

 Proficient in reading / interpreting financial statements for the purpose of underwriting credit.

 Knowledge of policies, rules, regulations and directives related to the financial sector.

 Sound knowledge of macroeconomic and microeconomic environment.
