Duties & Responsibilities:

Online Tutoring Support:

  • Coordinate and schedule online tutoring sessions between students and tutors.

  • Assist in setting up and managing the online tutoring platform or software.

  • Communicate with students and parents to address technical issues or provide guidance on using the online tutoring platform.

  • Maintain records of online tutoring sessions, attendance, and progress.

Home Tutoring Support:

  • Coordinate the assignment of tutors to students for home tutoring sessions.

  • Schedule and reschedule home tutoring appointments based on availability of tutors and students.

  • Communicate with tutors, students, and parents to ensure smooth coordination and address any issues or concerns.

  • Maintain records of home tutoring sessions, attendance, and progress.

Group Tutoring in Classroom Support:

  • Assist in scheduling and coordinating group tutoring sessions in the classroom.

  • Ensure that appropriate classroom resources and materials are available for the tutoring sessions.

  • Communicate with tutors, students, and parents regarding the schedule, location, and any changes to the group tutoring sessions.

  • Maintain records of group tutoring sessions, attendance, and progress.

Customer Support:

  • Respond to inquiries from students, parents, and tutors regarding tutoring services, schedules, and policies

  • Provide information about the different tutoring options available, including online tutoring, home tutoring, and group tutoring

  • Address customer concerns, resolve issues, and provide assistance as needed.

Administrative Tasks:

  • Assist with general administrative tasks, such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and maintaining office supplies.

  • Manage student and tutor records, including contact information, schedules, and progress reports.

  • Prepare and distribute relevant documents, such as tutoring agreements, session summaries, and evaluation forms.

Marketing and Promotion:

  • Support marketing efforts by preparing promotional materials for online, home, and group tutoring services.

  • Assist with managing social media accounts, updating the learning center's website, and coordinating with external partners for advertising purposes.

  • Participate in open houses, community events, and other promotional activities to showcase the learning center's tutoring services.

Classroom Support:

  • Assist with preparing classrooms for group tutoring sessions, ensuring that necessary materials and resources are available.

  • Help instructors with setting up equipment and technology needed for tutoring sessions.

  • Provide general support during group tutoring sessions, such as managing attendance, distributing materials, and addressing basic technical issues.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Secretarial Science & Office Management or in a related field of study

Experience:

  • 0-2 years in a similar role
