Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Chief Sales and Marketing Officer (CSMO) to join our Ashewa technology solution s.c. As the CSMO, you will play a pivotal role in driving our sales and marketing strategies, ensuring revenue growth, and expanding our market presence. This is a senior leadership position that requires a proven track record of success in sales and marketing, strong leadership skills, and strategic thinking.
Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy and Execution:
– Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth.
– Lead and motivate the sales team, providing coaching, guidance, and support to maximize their performance.
– Establish sales objectives, sales quotas, and performance metrics, and monitor progress regularly.
– Identify new market opportunities, develop strategic partnerships, and expand our customer base.
2. Marketing Strategy and Brand Development:
– Develop and execute innovative marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness, positioning, and market penetration.
– Conduct market research, analyze market trends, and identify customer needs and preferences.
– Oversee the creation of compelling marketing campaigns, content, and collateral to drive lead generation and customer acquisition.
– Build and maintain strong relationships with industry influencers, partners, and stakeholders.
3. Team Leadership and Collaboration:
– Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing sales and marketing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
– Develop and manage departmental budgets, resources, and performance goals.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, customer success, and operations, to ensure alignment and synergy across the organization.
4. Sales Performance Analysis and Reporting:
– Monitor sales performance, analyze sales data, and provide regular reports and insights to the executive team.
– Identify areas for improvement, implement sales enablement initiatives, and optimize sales processes and systems.
– Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
– Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
– Proven experience as a senior sales and marketing leader, preferably in the software development/ICT and related fields, or technology industry.
– Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth, achieving sales targets, and expanding market share.
– Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
– Excellent leadership abilities, with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams.
– Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
– In-depth knowledge of sales and marketing principles, best practices, and emerging trends.
– Proficient in utilizing CRM systems and sales/marketing automation tools.
– Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
