Cooperazione Internazionale (COOPI) is an international Italian NGO established in 1965. Since its establishment, COOPI has been undertaking activities to help and empower the poor and needy in different countries. COOPI Ethiopia started its operation in 1995 and has been primarily implementing humanitarian aid and development programs covering the sectors of: WASH, Shelter/NFI, Agriculture and Livelihoods, Energy and CCCM. COOPI works in Addis Abeba, Ahmara, Afar, Benishangul Gumuz, Oromia, Somali and Tigray Regions.
COOPI is looking for qualified and competent Warehouse Supervisor to be based in Addis Ababa Coordination Office
Position: Warehouse Supervisor

Role and Responsibilities
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for appropriately managing materials and assets procured by COOPI, assuring the respect of internal policies and donors ‘requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· To receive materials incoming and prepares goods receiving note, records and keeps in appropriate file following COOPI’s guidelines;
· To assure the proper storage of the incoming materials in appropriate place and according to the type;
· To issue materials against authorized request and keeps store issue voucher in appropriate file, in the respect of COOPI’s guidelines;
· To prepare monthly reports on the status of stock movement and assure the delivery of copies of store documents to the country logistics coordinator and appropriate departments (finance/programs) and assuring easy identification and retrieval of the documentation;
· To prepares balance and record inventories and stocks;
· To arrange the items in proper location, shelf, code and group for easy retrieval up on needed;
· Support the proper destination of the items and equipment, respecting donor’s rules;
· To assure that the stock is organized for easy physical count and stock taking;
· When necessary, to prepare internal request to replenish materials on time in order to avoid stock out;
· To propose and assure the disposal of damaged, obsolete, expired materials;
· Support the country logistic coordinator in facilitating the annual physical inventory and regular stock takes;
· To ensure that warehouses are cleaned, well functioning and stocks are secured;
· To report any issues regarding maintenance and service of the warehouse as well as any issue related to safety and security of the premises;
· To carry out missions in COOPI’s bases providing technical support to field logistics supervisor and assure the respect of COOPI’s procedures;
· To support the identification of appropriate premises used as warehouses in the areas of field base, assuring the respect of COOPI’s procedures and safety protocols;
· To perform other relevant tasks as assigned by the country logistics coordinator.
Qualifications & Preferred Skills
· Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Supply chain or logistics;
· At least five years’ experience in the same position in humanitarian organizations;
· Fluency in Amharic and English languages; the knowledge of other local languages is an asset;
· Punctuality and respect for rules;
· Knowledge of the main donors guidelines on asset management;
· Respect of procedures and humanitarian law;
· Good communication and interpersonal skills;
· Highly approachable, trustworthy and confidential;
· Ability to respect deadlines;
· Willingness to commit to the respect of COOPI’s values;
· Respect of humanitarian principles.

Salary: Based on Organization Salary Scale.
