Job Description

Purpose statement: - Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of all equipment and systems in a facility. This includes performing preventive and corrective maintenance tasks, troubleshooting and repairing problems, and installing and replacing equipment and components. He/she also plays an important role in ensuring the safety and security of the facility and its occupants.

  • Repair and Maintenance· Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of equipment as needed.

  • Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests, addressing issues efficiently to minimize downtime and ensure safety.

  • Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

  •  Develop and follow a preventive maintenance schedule to enhance the lifespan and efficiency of equipment and systems.

Documentation

  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance tasks.

Communication and Team Collaboration

  • · Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other stakeholders regarding maintenance activities, issues, and updates.

  • Collaborate with other team members to address complex maintenance issues and contribute to a positive and cohesive work environment.

  • Inventory Management

  • Manage and maintain an organized inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies, ensuring availability when needed.

Job Requirements

  •   Trade tested technician with diploma (level V and above) and 5 years’ experience FMCG/ soap and detergent environment.

  •   Mechanical specialist knowledge in basic maintenance concepts of basic hand skills, etc., maintenance controlling, basic planning

  •  Electrical specialist knowledge in basic electrical maintenance.
