Employee Contract Type:
Local - Fixed Term Employee (Fixed Term)
Ensure appropriate decommissioning of the existing infrastructure like latrines, temporary shelters and solid waste disposal.
Ensure proper relocation of the IDPs to newly assigned shelters or House rent and make sure logistic support given to the IDPs during relocation.
implement site closure strategies and ensure rehabilitation of areas formerly occupied by camps or collective centers.
Prepare reports as per set schedules (monthly, quarterly and annually) on grant activities, indicators and achievements to WV
Ensure appropriate coordination with all humanitarian partners as well as with Zonal authorities and local structures
Knowledge/Qualifications for the role
Experience in implementation of camp coordination and camp management.
Humanitarian field experience with substantial exposure to aid agencies’
At least three 2 years’ experience in a Social Sciences (e.g. Humanitarian Affairs, Development Studies, Political Science, or a related field), or an equivalent combination of camp management and humanitarian experience in a related area.
Required Education, training, license, registration, and certification
University Degree in social science: _ Humanitarian Affairs, Development Studies, Political Science, or a related field), or an equivalent combination of camp management and humanitarian experience in a related area.
Preferred Knowledge and Qualifications
• Ability to provide support, training and coaching to staff, CCCM and
• Excellent English communication skills (oral and written) with ability to express ideas and concepts clearly and persuasively with senior internal and external stakeholders
Travel and/or Work Environment Requirement
• This position requires regular travel between Kebeles and village-based travel
Physical Requirements
Candidates require a high level of physical and mental fitness particularly within high-risk environments
Language Requirements
English ability to communicate well in English (verbal and written) – particularly in a crisis situation
