Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Call Center Agent. In this role, the call center agent will be handling a high volume of incoming and outgoing calls and becoming the primary point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional customer service and efficiently resolving their inquiries or concerns. The Call Center Agent will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and ensure that each interaction is handled professionally and efficiently.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Answering or making calls to clients to learn about and address their needs, complaints, or other issues with products or services.

  • Handle incoming calls from customers professionally and courteously.

  • Provide accurate information to customers regarding products, services, promotions or company policies.

  • Identify and escalate complex issues to the appropriate department or supervisor when necessary.

  • Resolve customer complaints or inquiries in a timely and satisfactory manner.

  • Respond efficiently to customers and creating a positive experience.

  • Remaining calm and professional while dealing with angry customers and providing them with the best solutions to resolve their issues.

  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of all interactions with customers, comments and complaints.

  • Follow call center scripts and guidelines to ensure consistent quality service delivery.

  • Striving to meet or exceed individual performance targets such as call quality, average handling time, and customer satisfaction ratings.

  • Stay updated on product knowledge, company policies, and industry trends.

  • Participate in ongoing training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.

  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to improve overall call center performance.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in any field with 2 years proven experience as a call center agent or in a similar customer service role. (Experience working in the transport sector especially meter taxis is desirable).

  • Excellent verbal communication skills with a clear and professional phone voice.

  • Strong active listening skills to understand customer needs and provide appropriate solutions.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

  • Ability to handle challenging or irate customers with empathy and professionalism.

  • Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail.

  • Willingness to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays if required.
