1.      Position:          Associate IT Security

Job Purpose: - Support IT security development and enforcement of security guide lines at the Head Office as well as warehouse level

SUMMARY OF MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·        ·         Installs and manages windows security patches.

·         Supports central antivirus server management and policy configuring, testing and implementing, and updated signature distribution.

·         Ensures client antivirus implementation, monitoring, and logging of malware;.

·         Performs computer and printer security audit assessment, reports and fixes result.

·         Monitors local accounts as well as domain accounts and their privilege levels.

·         Monitors shared resource permissions.

·         Monitors implementation of physical resources port and node security.

·         Monitors data center physical access control and camera.

·         Monitors guest user management.

·         Monitors warehouse computers and network security implementation.

·         Creates user awareness about security threats and wise IT usage; and trains employees on ways to practice preventative security measures.

·         Participates in enforcement and implementation of IT security policy.

·         Monitors application users’ secure usage and privileges.

·         Gathers information for risk assessment surveys.

·         Performs risk analysis and mitigation for information security.

·         Works with users and other security personnel to improve methods or procedures that strengthen security measures.

·         Keeps up to date with security software revisions.

·         Makes recommendations for new security software and other related duties as assigned.

·         Ensures the internal security policies, procedures, and guidelines are in place and strictly applied.

·         Undertakes surprise security checks on the night shift of ECX warehouse and office premises.

·         Maintains contact with all warehouse supervisors or managers in relation to security issues.

·         Prepares ECX warehouses’ security-related reports to the supervisor.

·         Performs other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor

Job Requirements

·         BSc Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields.

·         2 years relevant experience in IT Security and related filed
