Role Overview

As the Refugee Marketplace Scale-Up Consultant, you will play a crucial role in expanding our efforts to connect skilled refugees with meaningful employment opportunities. You will leverage your deep understanding of refugee demographics, exceptional partnership skills, and business development acumen to guide us in scaling up our platform. As we onboard skilled refugeed onto the dedicated talent marketplace, your expertise will be pivotal in establishing partnerships and business relationships to scale the program to another height.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans for scaling up the refugee marketplace, considering both short-term and long-term objectives

  • Lead initiatives to expand the refugee marketplace's programs and services, ensuring they align with the evolving needs of both refugees and employers.

  • Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with organizations, NGOs, Private companies with CSR hire program and government agencies to enhance the reach and impact of the refugee marketplace.

  • Engage with key stakeholders, including refugee communities, employers, educational institutions, and advocacy groups, to foster collaboration and support.

  • Establish robust monitoring and evaluation frameworks to assess the effectiveness and impact of marketplace expansion initiatives.

  • Provide leadership and guidance to a multidisciplinary team involved in scaling efforts, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

  • Conduct outreach programs to raise awareness about the marketplace, engage with refugee communities, and ensure inclusivity in program design.

  • Collaborate with international organizations and initiatives focused on refugee empowerment to share insights and best practices.

  • Prepare regular reports on the progress of scale-up initiatives, documenting successes, challenges, and areas for improvement.

Person Specifications:

Academic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Development, Social Entrepreneurship, or a related field. Advanced degrees such as Master's in Business Administration (MBA) would be a plus.

  • Minimum of five years experience in a similar field

Skill Competency

  • Ability to develop and execute strategic plans that align with organizational goals and contribute to the growth of the Boundless Skills marketplace.

  • Exceptional relationship-building skills to establish and maintain strategic partnerships with diverse stakeholders, including NGOs, government agencies, and corporations.

  • Proficient in designing and implementing program initiatives.

  • Identify and secure funding opportunities and partnerships.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.

  • Intermediate understanding of Talent acquisition.
