Job Description
The Executive Sous Chef manages and oversees operations in the kitchen as well as the kitchen staff of an outlet. He/She plans the menu. He/She liaises with suppliers and controls the budget.
Radisson Blu Hotel, Addis Ababa which is centrally located in Kazanchis Business District adjacent to the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa conference hall (UNECA-AA) and just eight kilometres from Bole International Airport is looking for dynamic and self-starter applicants who wishes to join our team as Executive Sou Chef.
Required qualifications and competencies
Diploma or Certificate in Food Preparation from Accredited Hotel Institute/college
At least three (3) years of work experience as Executive Sous Chef or Sou Chef in a known 4-star or 5-star hotel
Having COC certification is an advantage
Excellent command of English
Excellent interpersonal skills
Capable of working in a team environment
Highly organized, able to carry out tasks independently and punctual
Excellent menu planning, cost control and recipe preparation ability
Proactive, innovative and customer focused
Ability to give attention to detail
Track records of developing others
Able to work under pressure
