Avenir Technologies PLC is seeking an experienced Sourcing Specialist to join our team. As a Sourcing Specialist, your responsibilities revolve around efficiently acquiring and managing vendor information and products. Here's a detailed breakdown of your tasks:

Responsibilities

• Gather data by sourcing vendor details such as email addresses, phone numbers, and locations.

• Identify and assess manufacturers, importers, and distributors to determine if they meet our requirements. Evaluate if they fall under Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) category.

• Initiate communication with potential vendors via phone calls. Present a comprehensive overview of our company and its needs. Schedule visits to vendors' locations and gather price lists along with details of their products.

• Conduct a board review, known as a gate review, utilizing the data collected from suppliers, distributors, and market pricing to assess viability and suitability.

• Facilitate the onboarding process for selected vendors, ensuring smooth integration into our system and operations.

• Perform data entry tasks, including cataloging products, capturing images, and inputting detailed product information into the system.

Requirements 

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

• Experience in vendor sourcing and management, preferably in B2B.

• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

• Familiarity with industry regulations and best practices.

• Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for vendor management.
