Overall purpose of the role:

The IT Expert will take care of all the IT needs. S/he will be responsible for installing or upgrading components, setting up software, assisting with network administration, and resolving all IT support issues. S/he should have an in-depth knowledge of various computer hardware and software technologies.

Specific Responsibilities

• Installing new software and hardware components.

• Regularly evaluating our IT systems to ensure they meet the necessary demands.

• Assisting with network administration tasks.

• Ensuring data storage is safe and secure.

• Resolving all issues coworkers have with their IT systems and software.

• Educating coworkers about network security and best practices for computer usage.

• Supporting the day-to-day operations of our computer network.

Reports to: Country Program Manager

Number of positions:     One      

Start Date: Immediate

Duration: 1 year with the possibility of extension

Job Requirements

Qualification and Experience:

• BSc Degree in Computer Science or a related fields is preferable,

• At least 3 years related experience is required,

• Professional certification is a plus ,

• Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills,

• Good communication ability, both written and verbal,

• Personable, professional demeanor,

• Knowledge, skill, and hands-on experience in managing an ERP system is an advantage.
