Job Description

Dugda Construction Plc is BC/SC-1 Construction Company that is engaged in the Building Construction, Special Foundation & Supplier Ready Mix Concrete. Our Company is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position listed below.

Main Responsibility & Duties

  • As a member of Executive Team contributes to overall Company strategic planning and development. 

  • Ensures that adequate finance is available to accomplish the daily operational activities and to meet Company’s financial obligations to internal and external creditors. 

  • In close collaboration with Internal Audit Services, installs regular auditing schedule by internal audit and external audit.

  • Manages the preparation of periodic financial reports (income and loss statements, Balance sheets, cash flow statements.

  • Closely monitors and ensures accurate and up to date accounts and financial records are maintained based on Company financial policy and procedure and a standardized procedure.

  • Prepare regular and occasional reports for the cash collection, budget transaction and cost analysis ETC...

  • Ensures that information on financial status of the Company is readily at hand whenever required.

  • Schedule of cash inflows and out flows. 

  • Identifies the best way for financing projects.

  • Sets annual financial performance targets for the Company i.e. set financial indicators, performance targets, and monitor and evaluate accordingly.

  • Provides direction and resources, removing barriers and helping develop people’s skills; articulating expectations and clarifying roles and relationships.

  • Establishes close relationships with Tax Authorities in matters related to periodic tax reports, payment of taxes, custom issues etc.

Job Requirements

Educational Qualification: -

  • MA or BA Degree in Accounting & Finance and other Related Field of study

Work Experiences: -

  • 12/15 years and above 3/5 years at Dept. Manager position (Construction or Private Organization work experience More Advantageous)

Technical Competency   

  • Planning, Coordinating, Analyzing & Scheduling, Basic Communication and Managerial skills.

  • Strong knowledge IFRS & Peachtree Accounting

  • Track record in managing business organization preferably in Construction industry
