Job Description
Main Purpose Responsible of the implementation, the grounding and the consistency in the execution of the mission specific L&D Strategy by the implementation of tools and activities which are in line with the established standard
Number of Position: One
Place of work: Addis Ababa with frequent field trip
Terms of employment: 1 year with a possibility of extension
Activity Rate: 100%
Remuneration and Benefits:
Starting gross salary/month: 54,784 ETB
Medical Coverage: as per organizational scale
Transportation allowance: 2,200 ETB

Promote the learning and development mission specific strategy with related activities and tools.
Implement the learning needs assessments logic within the mission by assisting the managers in execution of the process.
Implement tools and monitoring system to enhance the application of learning within the mission.
Give guidance to coordinators/supervisors/activity managers on L&D activities and tools.
Develop / adapt / update training curriculum, training manuals, handouts and other training materials accordingly.
Implement plan to enhance the capacities and expertise of Trainers within the mission.
Facilitate and deliver training courses when required.
Monitoring how effectively learning has been transferred to staffs .
Coordinating and facilitating knoweledge sharing programs
Designing, planning, scheduling and facilitating learning programs, workshops, demonstrations and conferences, both online and in-person.
Track Record of learning and Development budgets that maximize L&D effectiveness and contribution to ROI
Analyze training data and feedback to make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement
Oversee the organization's learning management system, ensuring proper functionality, accessibility, and user support
Manage course catalog, enrollments, and reporting within the LMS.
Organize and coordinate the logistics and administrative activities needed for learning activities such as distribution of learning materials, equipment requests, transport arrangements, obtaining the material approval of other partners, etc.
Support L&D Manager in determining appropriate content and target groups for training, preparing calendar of trainings to ensure the coverage of the training needs and maintain high standards of quality.
Support the implementation of the new performance management system by delivering training sessions and supporting staff and supervisors in a timely manner.
Support with identifying learning and development needs within MSF-H through job analysis, appraisal schemes and regular consultation with line-managers/Coordinators.
Ensure all the updated and approved MSF training forms, tools and methods are in use
Work on delivering learning programs in the possible cost effective way without compromising quality
Arrange accomodation, transportation and supplies to trainers and trainees
Liaise with HRM Assit and Admin Assit on tickets and program facilities
Provide stationary, check audiovisual equipment, coordinate refreshment service and do other arrangment for training programs
Prepare attenendance and certificates after checking the checklist
File training documents, in soft and hard copy, depending on content, date, project and other fields
Check field training are registered in Homere (MSF’s HRIS)
Provide information available in her/his discretion to concerned boadies timely
Cooridnate effectively with the L&D manager on ensuring all the learning activities are up to standard.
Project Support:
Need to be flexible to visit project location to facilitate learning and development programs in the regions
Education
Degree in HR or in a field, which is related to didactical or educational psychology.
Experience
Working experience of at least 1 year in Learning and Development sector.
Desirable previous working experience in MSF or other NGO in developing countries.
Languages
Essential mission working language.
Desirable local language.
Knowledge
Knowledge of HR in general
Knowledge of adult learning principles
Knowledge of staff development tools and strategies
Essential computer literacy (word, excel and internet)
