Job Description

Job summary: The Senior Researcher is generally expected to undertake activities related to macroeconomics research, training, preparation of periodicals (including Annual Report on the Ethiopian Economy, Quarterly Macroeconomic Update), technical support to stakeholders, and other overarching activities. S/He is expected to involve in generation of research ideas, preparation of concept notes and proposals, drafting contractual agreements, conducting reviews, collecting relevant data, analysing data, producing research reports (technical reports, policy briefs, working papers, etc.), participate in panel discussions, offer media briefs, disseminate research outputs; and perform any other related tasks.  Details can be obtained at https://eea-et.org/tor-for-senior-researcher-i/

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

• MA/MSc degree with eight years of demonstrated work experience directly related to the area of macroeconomics; or

• PhD Degree with four years of demonstrated work experience directly related to the area of macroeconomics.

Publication experience

• At least four demonstrated publication records in the area of macroeconomics
