Essential Function

• Compile procurement requests from departments, divisions and branches in different categories of goods/services;

• Collects material specification from user departments, and gets assistance from its Department when the goods are electronics.

• Assures the items requested by user departments are budgeted;

• Assesses the market before conducting procurement;

• Organizes suppliers’ lists with their details in different categories of supplies and services; identifies and lists suppliers who supply original (genuine) materials, and communicate it with his/her supervisor.

• Organizes quotations and Performa invoices from different suppliers as per the demands of the Bank;

• Presents quotations and Performa invoices to the senior procurement officer and to the procurement committee for action;

• Keeps track of procurement requests from different users and reminds the procurement officer and the senior procurement officer to address the requests;

• Takes part in procurement of goods/services in any form in assistance of the senior procurement officer and the procurement officer.

• Maintains records, collects necessary receipts on time, and sends to Finance & Accounts Department through store or directly attaching needful documents.

• .Handles any other related tasks when required by her/his supervisor.

Job Requirement

• BA in Procurement and Supplies, Purchasing, Accounting and Finance, Banking & Finance, Management, Business Administration, Any other related fields 4-6 months of experience in procurement and related fields, preferably in banking industry
