Job Description

On behalf of one of our clients, The Talent Firm is recruiting for the position of Facility and General Services Manager. The client is a leading, multinational company in the food and beverage industry. 

Responsibilities:

  • Ensures the security of the factory is always at its peak and oversees security investigations

  • Conducts risk audits and assessments and risk factor analysis

  • Develops WoW in managing the facility and defines processes and procedures in running it effectively (security procedures like access control, canteen replenishment procedure, cleaning procedures and frequency, etc)

  • Ensures the security of the facility and WH is always at its peak and oversees security investigations

  • Manages and reviews invoices for canteen, transportation, waste disposal, external facility related services provided, and other facility related expenses

  • Works with fleet management and technical services department to ensure the effective maintenance and servicing of factory vehicles

  • Inspect facilities, installations, and repairs to ensure compliance to basic conditions and to maintain quality standards

  • Develop and manage canteen budget. Ensures employees get canteen service that is consistent, healthy and as per agreed budget on a timely manner

  • Ensures the hygiene level of the compound and offices is maintained and employees get proper lavatory services and appropriate changing facilities

  • Work closely with project team to improve, maintain, renovate the office space and whole compound

  • Controls and manages budget, expenses and timely settles petty cash

  • Develops and implements corporate waste disposal strategies

  • Manages, with other stakeholders, environmental monitoring projects to ensure compliance with permits and applicable regulations

  • Manages and reviews invoices for transportation, waste disposal, services provided, and other facility-related expenses.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

Education:

  • BA Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Management, Leadership or other related fields

Experience: 

  • 5 years of experience in a manufacturing industry preferably in FMCG, out of which 3 years as a facility and general services manager or related 

Leadership skills:

  • Should have high curiosity for learning, proven problem-solving skills, and be result-oriented, and a good team player. Should be a forward thinker who could inject inspirational leadership and should be a great decision-maker.

Soft skills: 

  • Abel to communicate in English and Advanced level in MS Excel and the use of computer applications and ERP tools is required.
