Infinity Advanced Technology Solutions P.L.C. (IATS) is a leading medical and IT equipment distributor and technical service provider in Ethiopia. Currently the company needs to hire qualified personnel for the following position:

Position: Junior Field Service Engineer (JFSE)

Summary of the Job:

 The Junior Field Service Engineer (JFSE) is a learning level position that is responsible for meeting daily service repair needs of the customer's equipment through on site learning process and driving customer satisfaction through service excellence.

Roles and Responsibilities:

 Technical Task

         Working with senior field Engineers on basic troubleshooting, inspection, installation, maintenance and service repair needs on various equipment.

·        Completing Preventative Maintenance and Functional Management Inspections under the supervision of senior engineers;

·      Maintaining tools and test equipment properly and ensuring they are calibrated.

·        Meeting Health and Human Services, Environment Health and Safety and/or all other applicable regulatory requirements.

Reporting & Communication

·        Effectively communicate with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up, leading to customer satisfaction.

·        Utilize the escalation process to resolve customer service delivery issues and conducting root cause analysis that will lead to effective problem solving.

·        Working as a member of the technical services team to provide efficient service delivery to all accounts within assigned area.

·        Fill and record all task performed properly using appropriate documentation for the task as per the SOP such as NC form, service report, Installation report, PM, FMI and Installation checklist.

·        Submit weekly reports on time to responsible technical team leaders.

Capacity building Activities

·        Working with experienced field engineers on managing service delivery processes in compliance with Infinity policies.

·        Actively participate on capacity building activities.

System Implementation 

·        Keeping up to date on administrative responsibilities such as maintaining customer service logs and internal service records in a timely manner.

Sales and Marketing

·        Understand Infinity product line and do promotion while providing service. 

·        Understand the medical equipment need of a customer on assigned facility during service provision, proactively engage with customer and understand the demand.

·        Identify system required, decision maker, Hospital bed size, budget, expected system arrival date

·        Do proper introduction between customer and infinity sales to covert opportunity into sales

Job Requirements

Qualifications/ Requirements

Education:

•         BSc Biomedical Engineering / Electrical Engineering

•        0-2 years of relevant experience

Certification(s):

•         Registered and licensed Junior Biomedical Engineer: Ministry of Health

•         Repair, maintenance and measuring instruments training certificate: National Metrology Institute
