Department: Marketing, Sales & Business Development Department

Reports to: Customer Service Coordinator

Purpose of the Job:

Under the general direction and supervision of the CUSTOMER SERVICE COORDINATOR, JUNIOR CUSTOMER SERVICE OFFICER is responsible for delivering outstanding performance in a forwarding and logistics environment, providing exemplary service to our customers through effective management and direct client relationships

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Serve as front office Desk officer for all business enquiries.

  • Handle all customers of the company service requests.

  • Plan and track shipments.

  • Updates and monitor picking accuracy and warehouse activities.

  • Liaise and coordinate with warehouse and transport team to ensure smooth delivery.

  • Investigate and resolve orders /deliveries that are late.

  • Process orders and transactions.

  • Handle customer complaints.

  • Collect and analyse customer feedback.

  • Deliver information about company’s offering.

  • Respond to customer reviews

  • Receive and lead clients according to their requests.

  • Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times.

  • Communicate with customers through various channels.

  • Process orders, forms, applications, and requests.

  • Provide feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process.

  • Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support.

  • Create and maintain reports on customer interactions.

  • Encourage customers to complete satisfaction surveys.

  • Make recommendations to managers to improve customer experience.

Qualification and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Management, Economics, Business Administration or related fields with zero (0) year of demonstrated experience OR

  • Level 4/college diploma in Accounting, Management, Economics, Business Administration or related fields with Four (4) years of demonstrated experience
