Job Description
Kegna Beverages Share Company or KBSC in short is a Beverage Manufacturing Industry officially established by shareholders on April 1, 2017. The beverage green field project is located in Oromia Regional State West Shewa Zone, on the outskirt of Ginchi town while the project office is located at Kazanchis, Elilly International Hotel, New building, 10th floor, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
The company will engage in producing quality alcoholic & non- alcoholic beverages brands which will inspire human beings in the first phase and also have 2nd phase expansion plan to produce carbonated water, Juices and other portfolios. Job Summary
The marketing manager is responsible for the development of marketing strategy that best helps the realization of the company’s mission vision and business objective. He/ She leads, coordinates and monitors all marketing activities of the company. Initiates research that incorporates the macro and micro environment to get a clear understanding of the market conditions and uses it as a base to make all marketing decisions.
1. Plans, organizes, administers, directs and controls all the market development and brand management operations.
2. Prepares overall marketing strategy.
3. Develops and implements strategies to expand existing market penetration and enter new markets and related new business without mission drifts.
4. Conducts periodical market research and analysis the market trend.
5. Conduct competitor intelligence and identify their trends
6. Designs brand management strategies and ensures the brand of Kegna has proper place in the mind of the customers
7. Conducts feasibility and market studies on new brands and new routes etc.
8. Develops, implements and manages marketing budget.
9. Conducts market research on the proper advertisement/ promotion of the company’s product.
10. Designs strategies to increases revenue generation and market share.
11. Performs other similar tasks as assigned by the Commercial Director.
Academic requirement:
MSC/BSC in Marketing Management or related fields of study
Work experience:
For MSC/MA, 10 years and for BSC/BA, 8 years relevant work experience out of which at least 4 years experience on managerial positions and in Beverage Industries
