Job Description
Basic Functions: The incumbent reports directly to the System Manager. He/she assists in planning and coordinating maintenance, upgrades, and support of servers, switches, and routers for the AIDNet and DIN network. He/she is responsible for scheduling maintenance activities, resolving customer problems, and verifying operability and functionality of network resources. Responsibilities also include implementing systems security and contingency plans and policies for both USAID\Ethiopia and Djibouti Mission.
Job Requirement
Qualifications required: A minimum of five years’ experience in Computer networking or system administration; bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Management or equivalent. Qualified candidates will be evaluated based on education, experience, and demonstrated knowledge, skills, and abilities
Salary Range: The salary range of the position is FSN -10: $19,728– $35,508 yearly, articulated in U.S. dollars but paid in Birr.
Location of Work: USAID/US Embassy Entoto Road
