Job Summary: 

Under the supervision of the Director, Trade and Investment Promotion Dept., the Senior Trade Fair Management Officer undertakes research to identify opportunities for developing new specialized trade fairs focusing on various economic sectors. He/she conducts pre-feasibility and feasibility study to test the viability of the newly identified specialized fairs; takes the initiative to introduce new trade fairs; manages through the incubation and development process.

Terms of Employment:  Permanent

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

Education:

  • BA/MA degree in Management, Business Administration, Economics, Marketing Management Project management and related fields of Studies from Recognized higher learning Institution

Work Experience:

  • Six years of experience for BA holders and 4 years of experience for MA holders in similar positions.

Technical and other skills:

  • Demonstrated technical ability, sound judgment, ability to interact and work effectively with others,

  • Good conceptual understanding of trade fair and event management,

  • Firm belief in teamwork,

  • Coordination and facilitation skills,

  • Stakeholder management skills,

  • Compliant management skills.
