The Area Manager is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the implementation of the e-Voucher system. The Area Manager will work closely with various stakeholders, including woredas (administrative divisions), users, and technical assistance teams to ensure the smooth operation of the project within their designated area.

Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities

❖ Coordination and Reporting

● Act as the main point of contact between the main office and the woredas within the assigned area.

● Coordinate and collaborate with woreda officials, stakeholders, and project team members

● Provide regular reports to the project manager regarding the progress of the project in the designated area. These reports should include updates on the usage of the eVoucher system, any technical issues encountered, and the overall impact and effectiveness of the system.

❖ User Management

● Facilitate the onboarding process for users by providing them with usernames and passwords for accessing the eVoucher system and ensuring they have the necessary access to the system.

● Providing the necessary training according to the manual to end users.

❖ Technical Issue Resolution

● Coordinate with the technical assistance teams to troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues that may arise

❖ Monitoring and Evaluation

● Conduct regular field visits to monitor the implementation of the project within the assigned area.

● Collect feedback from woredas, users, and other stakeholders regarding the eVoucher system's performance and suggest improvements or modifications as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

● Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as agriculture, rural development, or business administration.

● 2 years of experience in project coordination or management, preferably in agricultural or rural development projects.

● Strong organizational and communication skills to effectively coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

● Willingness to travel within the assigned area to monitor project activities.
