On behalf of one of its clients, The Talent Firm is recruiting for two positions. The client is a leading, multinational company in the food and beverage industry. 

Facility Team Leader  – recruited by The Talent Firm

Responsibilities

• Ensure Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)and food safety requirements and procedures are always practiced in all areas

• Take immediate appropriate action and report food safety management system-related problems to the right person/s

• Leads, manages, evaluates, coaches, and gives feedback to team members and Improves performance tracking and data registration  

• Develops WoW in managing the facility and defines processes and procedures in running it effectively (security procedures like access control, canteen replenishment procedure, cleaning procedures, and frequency, etc)

• Plans and deploys resources (people, materials, process, and equipment) to meet the needs of others safely while excelling at quality of service and balancing costs

• Manages and ensures cleaning and hygiene level of the canteen, compound, and offices is maintained and employees get proper lavatory services and appropriate changing facilities

• Inspect facilities, installations, and repairs to ensure compliance with basic conditions and to maintain quality standards

• Follows up on the operation of utilities, settlement of bills, and improvement on availability

• Work closely with the project team to improve, maintain, and renovate the office space and the whole compound

• Prepares and owns PR for items needed to maintain the facility in its basic conditions and for consumables

• Develops standards, KPIs, follow-up checklists, and internal customer feedback mechanisms to ensure compliance

• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

• Develop and manage the canteen budget. Ensures employees get canteen service that is consistent, healthy and as per agreed budget on a timely manner

• Manages and reviews invoices of expenses for the canteen, and acts on deviations

• Looks for better options to serve employees on different occasions

• Ensures the hygiene level of the compound and offices is maintained and employees get proper lavatory services and appropriate changing facilities

• Follows up on the operation of utilities, settlement of bills, and improvement on availability

• Work closely with the project team to improve, maintain, and renovate the office space and the whole compound

• Manage OT, work on efficiency and effectiveness, Settles monthly petty cash, managing, and controlling it also Timely requesting of budget

Job Requirements

Education:

• BA/ BSc and above in Business Management, Engineering, or other related fields

Experience: 

• 4 years of experience in a manufacturing industry preferably in FMCG, out of which 2 years as a facility and general services supervisor or in a related

Soft skills: 

• Abel to communicate in English and Advanced level in MS Excel and the use of computer applications and ERP tools is required
