We are seeking a highly motivated Sales and Tender Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for managing the tendering process, searching for new tender opportunities, and preparing comprehensive tender documents. As a Sales and Tender Engineer, you will play a crucial role in securing tenders for our solar energy solutions, contributing to the growth and success of Green Scene Energy PLC.
Conduct thorough market research to identify potential tender opportunities in the solar energy sector
Monitor online platforms, government portals, and industry publications for tender announcements and updates
Analyze tender requirements, specifications, and evaluation criteria to determine the feasibility of bidding.
4. Collaborate with the technical and sales teams to understand customer requirements and develop competitive tender proposals.
5. Prepare and compile all necessary documentation for tender submission, including technical specifications, cost estimates, project schedules, and compliance documents.
Ensure all tender documents are accurate, complete, and submitted within the specified deadlines.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders, such as legal and finance departments, to ensure compliance with tender requirements and contractual obligations.
Participate in pre-tender meetings and site visits, as required, to gather relevant information and clarify customer expectations.
Collaborate with the sales team to develop pricing strategies and determine optimal pricing levels for tender submissions.
Maintain a comprehensive database of tender documents, including templates, pricing models, and reference materials.
Review and analyze previous tender submissions and outcomes to identify areas for improvement and enhance future bidding strategies.
Provide regular updates on tender progress and outcomes to the management team.
Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
Proven experience in tender management within the solar energy industry.
Strong understanding of tendering processes, including searching for tenders, interpreting tender requirements, and preparing tender documents.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical information clearly and concisely.
Attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Willingness to travel as required.
