Merit Engineering PLC looking to hire for the following posts

Procurement officers are responsible for evaluating suppliers, products, and services, negotiating contracts, and ensuring that approved purchases are cost-efficient and of high quality.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Overseeing and supervising employees and all activities of the purchasing department.

• Preparing plans for the purchase of equipment, services, and supplies.

• Following and enforcing the company's procurement policies and procedures.

• Reviewing, comparing, analyzing, and approving products and services to be purchased.

• Managing inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records.

Required Skills & Knowledge:

• Good understanding of pipes, fittings, different chemicals related with water treatment.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Purchasing & Supplies Management, Procurement or in a related field of study

Experience:

• 1 years and above of working experience

• Know how market places in Addis Ababa Experience on purchase and sales
