Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Develop and execute strategies for identifying and engaging MSMEs in rural and regional areas, with an emphasis on digital lending solutions.

·         Oversee the entire MSME onboarding process, ensuring a seamless transition from traditional to digital financial platforms.

·         Oversee the implementation of training programs in BDS and financial literacy for MSMEs to enhance their business capabilities and understanding of financial management.

·         Forge strong relationships with local business communities, financial institutions, and other stakeholders to foster an ecosystem supportive of MSME growth.

·         Monitor and evaluate the performance of MSMEs and inform future lending decisions.

·         Lead a team dedicated to the mission of financial inclusion, providing mentorship and setting clear targets in line with the organization objectives.

·         Reports to the Company head office on a regular basis.

Job Requirements: 

  • Education: Bachelor & degree in Business Administration, Management, Economics, or related field.

  • Experience A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial services or projects with a focus on MSMEs, rural finance or digital lending.

Competency/Prerequisites:

·         Proven track record in business development, sales, or client acquisition, particularly within the financial sector.

·         Understanding of credit, risk assessment, and the challenges faced by MSMEs in accessing financial services.

·         Experience in developing and conducting training programs in business and financial literacy.

·         Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a regional team.

·         Knowledge of digital financial services and a strong commitment to financial inclusion.

·         Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.

·         Willingness to travel extensively within the region and work in a dynamic and challenging environment.
